product detail

Acetylglucosamine, abbreviated as NAG, is a naturally occurring compound in the human body. Its name is Acetyl Glucosamine, also known as N-acetyl-D-glucosamine or N-acetylglucosamine. It is formed by the combination of glucosamine and acetyl groups. It is an important structural molecule in the human body, naturally present in many tissues and body fluids, including skin, joint fluid, and synovial fluid. Acetylglucosamine is a white crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water, with a mild taste and a slight sweetness. Acetylglucosamine belongs to the category of amino acid sugars and is the main component of mucopolysaccharides and hyaluronic acid. It is considered a substance and skin repair ingredient that shares the same structure as the skin, and can promote wound healing at high concentrations. AcGlcN has been proven to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, making it a promising ingredient for treating diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other joint related disorders. In animal studies, it has been found that AcGlcN can reduce joint inflammation and swelling, thereby improving mobility and reducing pain.
Acetylglucosamine acts is by inhibiting the activity of enzymes that break down cartilage, which is the soft tissue that buffers and lubricates joints. By reducing the rate of cartilage degeneration, Acetylglucosamine may help slow down the progression of osteoarthritis and other degenerative joint diseases. Another, Acetylglucosamine can improve skin hydration, elasticity, and firmness, making it a popular ingredient in skincare products.

Acetylglucosamine is a precursor of natural moisturizing hyaluronic acid in the skin, which can enhance the activity of hyaluronic acid synthase (HAS), promote the synthesis and secretion of hyaluronic acid by skin keratinocytes and fibroblasts, and increase the content of hyaluronic acid in skin cells.

 The Skincare Efficacy of Acetylglucosamine:

1. Moisturizing water
As a precursor of natural moisturizing factor sodium hyaluronate, Acetylglucosamine can promote the synthesis of hyaluronic acid in skin cells, enhance the activity of hyaluronic acid synthase (HAS), promote the synthesis and secretion of hyaluronic acid by skin keratinocytes and fibroblasts, increase the content of hyaluronic acid in skin cells, thereby eliminating fine lines and making the skin elastic. Acetylglucosamine helps skin make its own hyaluronic acid

2. Efficient moisturizing properties
Acetylglucosamine has excellent transdermal absorption and can promote the skin's hydration ability. 3. Natural keratin regulator
Acetylglucosamine is a natural keratin regulator. Compared to fruit acid, its effect is mild and non irritating to the skin.

4. Anti-aging effect
Acetylglucosamine has structural advantages and can effectively bind to the epidermal stratum corneum.Acetylglucosamine can effectively inhibit the damage of free radicals to cells, prevent inflammatory reactions, promote cell regeneration, enhance the antioxidant capacity of the epidermal layer, help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and promote skin elasticity.
